Through the Liberty Defense Fund initiative and in partnership with LCC Chief Litigator, James SM Kitchen, LCC advances legal cases that would otherwise never be fought due to a lack of funds and legal representation. Mr. Kitchen is a civil litigation lawyer committed to fiercely defending civil liberties, upholding constitutional and human rights, and advocating for health freedom, both inside and outside the courts. His motivation to seek justice, promote truth, and uphold the rule of law is rooted in his Christian faith.
LCC believes justice must be done, and must be seen to be done. But advocating for truth and freedom through the law and in the courts is expensive—more expensive than all other types of public advocacy. This is why, much to the detriment of Canadian society, so few organizations do it. Freedom is anything but free. It takes a lot of resources to defend it and to advance it, but it is worth it. Join with us as we fight the good fight and run the race God has for LCC with perseverance (Hebrews 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 4:7).
"Sometimes your freedom is not taken away at gunpoint but instead, one piece of paper at a time, one seemingly meaningless rule at a time, one small silencing at a time. Never allow the government or anyone else–to tell you what you can or cannot believe or what you can and cannot say or what your conscience tells you to do or not do."
